Immediately, Anthony’s gaze traveled to the other man, expression falling into its traditional deadpan state. Sheesh. Either he was losing his comedic edge or this guy simply didn’t know how to pick up sarcasm. “… Wasn’t serious about that shooting thing… though stronger alcohol sure does sound tempting.”

Of course, he wasn’t exactly serious about drinking at this hour, either – not with the schedule he had.
